Here Again
There she lies alone in bed again,
Tears overflow from eyes filled to the brim.
She’s been here once, she’s been here twice
Because she never seems to take her own advice.
Giving your all ’till there’s nothing to give,
Is more often than not, a painful way to live.
Quickly, for him, she did soon care.
But ever so slowly, does the heart repair.
Time heals all wounds, this may be true,
Though you won’t understand ’till it happens to you.
The physical pain that makes you feel sick.
At times even wishing that life would end quick.
Don’t give up now, the journey’s just begun,
It’s all a part of life, not always filled with fun.
